Friday with Clear Creek Distillery

Last Friday, the distillery was filled with sound; the sound of Louisiana men making plans for their distillery, mulling and clucking over blueprints, the churning and rumbling of the mash tank, tapping fingers against keyboards, and then a one-year-old waking from his mid-morning nap...

Amidst the sounds of a busy Friday, Lynn Bauer, from Oregon’s Clear Creek Distillery came for a tour before her plane ride home.

After Robert led her through the distillery, she hung around for a while to chat and sample more of our spirits. Lynn left Portland-bound with a few of our bottles and was kind enough to leave behind a bottle of their Apple Brandy.

Clear Creek Distillery is the second oldest craft distillery in the country, with over 27 years of experience making artisanal spirits. Their spirits are made exclusively with Oregon-grown fruits, according to traditional European brandy-making techniques. You can find their products here.

Speaking of sound. Listen to Lynn if you can, past the rising sound of the ringtone.

We look forward to more visits like this. Next time, maybe she will leave us with the Pear!
